Hi Flier Striped Bass Barnegat NJ 11/3/11
Striped bass feeding on sandeels at the surface. Nov. 3 , 2011, 40 feet of water off of Island Beach State Park, NJ, two miles north of Barnegat Inlet on board my charter boat, the Hi Flier. Schools of 12 to 16 pound stripers inhaling our 5" white FIN-S on 10 pound spinning rods. Over 30 fish and only one big gator bluefish, the rest were all bass.

Hi Flier Bluefin Tuna at Barnegat Ridge, NJ 7-17-11
Gene Linder doing battle with a 34 inch 30 pound bluefin tuna that crashed our rainbow squid spreader bar while hi-speed trolling at the Barnegat Ridge on my charter boat, the Hi Flier, out of Barnegat NJ. One of five tuna we had that morning and one bonita. 70 degree, blue-ish water, lots of flying fish, a few chick birds and lots of action.

Hi Flier Bluefin Tuna trolling at Barnegat Ridge 7-16-11
Here's Terrance Archer with his 32 inch, 25 pound bluefin tuna that ate a hot pink, 4" cedar plug while we trolled the Barnegat Ridge off of NJ. We also had two bonita and a 10 pound mahi mahi making for a nice mix of loin in the Ziplocks. Water had blue tint, chick birds, flying fish, and the best part is, it's all within 20 miles of Barnegat Inlet aboard my charter boat, the Hi Flier.

Hi Flier Charters Stripers on Live Grass Shrimp NJ Part 1
This is a typical summer trip to the Barnegat Inlet jetty on my charter boat, Hi Fler out of Barnegat NJ with live grass shrimp. We anchor up on a hard running tide and chum the shrimp into the rocks. We bait up 5 or 6 shrimp on a small hook, 30" of 20 pound flourocarbon, and put 20 feet of line under the Redi-Rig Release Bobber. This bobber has a release clip on the bottom that releases under tension and then the float slides all the way down your line to the hook, allowing you to net the fish and bobber. Most of these fish are 22" to 26", shy of the legal 28". but a blast on 10 pound spinnong tackle.This is Nick putting the boots to one of a dozen bass we caught this trip, including one 29" that was also released. My 1st Maryland Fishing Charter Fishing Trip. Maryland Charter Fishing Rocks!

This isn't headline news but I have to report this to all those that like fishing and are looking to book a Maryland charter fishing trip. My good friend "Capt. Rich" as we all call him runs two sports fishing charter boats in the Maryland charter fishing service and I have to tell you the captains and mates made the voyage so much fun and exciting I had to take a minute and write this. We not only had fun but the large fishing boat was comfortable carrying 39 people with plenty of room to spare. I never expected to catch so many fish and my wife had a blast. I was a little surprised how much fun Maryland charter fishing was. 150lb Blue Marlin on Monkey Biz 2 Kona Hawaii
Two days fishing on the Charter Boat Monkey Biz 2 based in Kona Hawaii with Captain Chip Van Mols and Deckie Ryan O'halloran. 150-180lb Blue Marlin swam up in the pattern on day 2 and hooked up. Angler Mark Peacock The Monkey Biz 2 charter provided the best equipment and best knowledge, i couldn't recommend choosing these guys more highly. Top bunch of blokes as well. Cheers Chip and Ryan
